About Three Lakes Water Association
Three Lakes Water Association is a member-owned, non-profit water utility serving the Three Lakes community and surrounding areas in Snohomish, Washington. Since 1963, our mission has been to provide safe, reliable, and high-quality drinking water while operating in a fiscally responsible manner for the benefit of our members.
As a member-owned association, we are accountable to the people we serve. Our focus is not on generating profits, but on maintaining and improving the water system that supports our community. Revenue collected from water service is reinvested into system operations, maintenance, infrastructure improvements, regulatory compliance, and long-term planning to ensure dependable service for generations to come.
Three Lakes Water Association operates as a tax-exempt mutual water utility under Section 501(c)(12) of the Internal Revenue Code, a designation commonly used by member-owned utility organizations.
Our dedicated staff and volunteer Board of Trustees work together to manage and protect the water system, maintain water quality standards, respond to the needs of our members, and invest in the future of our community's water infrastructure. Every decision is guided by our commitment to delivering reliable potable water at a reasonable cost while maintaining the integrity and sustainability of the system.
